First of all choose a shade that suits your complexion. The best way is to experiment with different shades to see what colours suit your face. Some people have a very clear lip line where as others don’t. The lip is the edge of the pigmented area of the lips. You don’t always have to use lip liner when wearing lipstick, using a little bit of concealer around the outside of the lip line to stop the lipstick from bleeding.
How To Apply
If your lips are dry or hard before applying, use some lip balm to soften them. The majority of people apply lipstick straight from the stick but it is a lot easier using a brush to enable you to apply the right amount and in the right place. Run the brush from side to side making sure it has enough lipstick on it.
Start around the centre of the lips and draw the brush outwards to the lip line. Then fill the whole area will the colour. Using a tissue blot your lipstick this will help it last longer. Then add another layer to replace the colour.
