Shampooing your hair every other day rather than everyday will not only
save water in the shower but will also save you time too!
Additionally, you'll use less product and you'll save your locks from
the drying effects of over styling!
2. Don't throw your green
efforts down the drain - only use the amount of shampoo that you need.
The size of a grape is good for most of us. (If you hair is longer than
Rapunzel's we'll let you off with 2 grapes worth!)
3. Towel dry
your hair before applying your styling products. You'll use less
product as it won't become diluted and your product will last even
longer.
4. Allow your hair to dry at least 30% before you start
blow-drying! It will save your hair from excess heat damage and will
save you pennies on electricity too.
5. Always unplug you
electrical appliances! 40% of all electrical power is consumed when
appliances are turned off and you won't get the fear that you've left
your straighteners on when you've left the house either!
