Whether you love the tousled curls look, or a sleek and sexy
chignon we show you how to get a lovely look.
Lawrence gives his top tips
for creating Valentines-ready locks.
For romantic waves
To create this look at home start by applying a
volumising spray to damp hair. Try using Aveda's
Volumising Tonic for fine hair or Tigi
Bed Head Superstar Queen for a Day alongside Tigi
Bed Head Superstar Blow-dry Lotion for medium hair.
Next, take a medium sized barrel brush and blow-dry
hair section by section. Finish each section by turning the brush up to
the roots to achieve a curl. Once the hair is dry use a serum or spray
to give it a gorgeously shiny finished look.
Finally, if you want to achieve anymore curl use a
curling wand. Simply take random sections of hair and wrap them around
the wand holding it in place to create curls, flicks and soft waves.
For
a classic chignon
Inject some Hollywood glamour into your hair with a
loose chignon for a soft and feminine style.
To achieve the look pull hair loosely back from your
face and twist the back into a low slung chignon. Use plenty of grips
and hairspray to fix your style in place and gently tease a few tendrils
of hair loose to soften the look.
Create extra volume in your hair before sweeping it
back into a chignon. Try using a blow-dry volume mousse on damp hair and
dry it in.
Keep your chignon in place with TIGI
S-Factor's Vivacious Hairspray. Simply spray the hairspray all over
hair, paying particular attention to the areas that may need extra
hold. You'll end up with a natural, sleek look with a high shine
finish.
Half up half down
The half up, half down style is easy to achieve and
looks great on all hair types.
To achieve this look simply start by applying a root
boosting spray into the hair before blow-drying. This will help to give
your hair extra volume and that little bit of oomph!
For a more natural look blow-dry hair using your
fingers instead of a brush. This will help you to achieve a more tousled
end result.
Next, simply pop in some Velcro rollers around the
top section of your hair to help create even more volume and height.
Once you have taken these out apply a shine spray or serum. Pull the
front section of hair loosely back off your face and secure with grips.
