Blow Drying & Brushing Hair

When blow drying, always blast dry the hair following the shape contours, angling the dryer down the hair shaft direction and making sure not to blow dry against the natural hair growth direction. Blast until 95% dry, leaving 5% dampness for shaping with your brush.

Great brushes to use with graduated bobs are vent brushes from the 'Tigi Hardcore' range and medium round brushes such as 'ghd Ceramic round brushes'. The vent brush should only be used when drying the actual graduated sections. A great stylist tip: Blow dry from left to right, then right to left and then brush down to create volume without any kinks.

The medium round brush is then used for the longer lengths of the style. Another great tip is not to roll the brush round and round.
